2024 San Francisco Tech Week | Fall
SuperTech FT conducted the "opening acts" for San Francisco Public Library system's introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its future in the 2nd Tech Week for 2024 starting on October 5th. We offered two AI Robotics events to help the public understand and have a fun hands-on experience. In the first event, Dr. Albert Hu introduced AI Robotics and some of the latest developments to the adults attending this workshop. For the second event, Elvin Li led a hands-on workshop where kids learned to build their first robot and interacted with a node-tossing robot built by Lowell High School's First Inspire CardinalBotics 4159, who we invited.
Dr. Albert Hu discusses AI Robotics and its future.
The kids are learning to build and interact with robots at such a young age. Impressive!
2024 Linkedin HQ Job Readiness Program
On September 18, 2024 at Linkedin HQ, Dr. Albert Hu and Ms. Jesica Chavez, founder of Latina Success, introduced the field of AI Robotics highlighting the high demand for talents, the various jobs available, and pathways to these jobs. Elvin Li and Melody Luo were both on site to demonstrate an autonomous education version of home vacuum cleaner. At SuperTech FT, we strive to provide up-to-date and NGSS-aligned AI Robotics curricula and programs.
AI, Multimodality, Robots
On May 31, 2024, Dr. Albert Hu and Mr. Sanjib Basak, former IBM Watson Health Data Director, introduced AI, multimodality, and their use in robotics to 25 visiting Durham University MSc Business Analytics master degree student cohort led by Professor Spyros Angelopoulos.
Students ask many good ground truth questions. They will be among the first to apply this new tool as new leaders in their careers.
Exciting time, exciting place, and exciting team.
2024 San Francisco Tech Week | Summer
SuperTech FT is back for another San Francisco Public Library (SFPL) Tech Week! Similarly to last year's block, we are honored to present two AI Robotics outreach events to the public for our block on May 18. The first event is a talk highlighting AI and AI Robotics and the second event is a hands-on workshop for parents and children.
Dr. Albert Hu starts the block by introducing AI and robotics to the adults demystifying the core ideas of AI Robotics. The second event, the workshop, was designed by our innovative and experienced assistant team, making the hands-on sessions fun and friendly to both parents and children in San Francisco. Special thanks to Alphabots team members for volunteering to demonstrate the ingenuity in their robots.
Look forward to our next block for the 2nd Tech Week of the year on October 5!

2023-2024 Collaboration with The Data Institute of USF
Supertech FT has started the partnership with the Data Institute of University of San Francisco. The Data Institute of University of San Francisco ranked #1 in Master Degree of Data Science programs in California, according to Fortune magazine 2022-2023.
We are happy to announce 2023-2024 internship/externship opportunities for the institute's master degree students: in the areas of AI robotics (computer vision for autonomous navigation/SLAM) and of AI in education.

2023 San Francisco Tech Week
We at Supertech FT appreciate the San Francisco Public Library system for hosting Tech Week. As the last block for this year's Tech Week on May 13, we were excited to offer two AI Robotics events featuring a talk about the current state of AI Robotics and a hands-on workshop.
Dr. Albert Hu discusses the AI algorithms used by modern robots and the optimal AI for autonomous robots while introducing the limited applications of generative-AI based partially on MIT CSAIL's work on AI Robots. Thanks Prabhjot "Prince" Singh for demonstrating multi-modal generative AI results.
Our energetic assistant team led by Elvin Li including Alivia Zhao and Veda Lee introduced AI Robotics to parents and children through hands-on assembly of the education robot. Alphabot's team made an impressive presence with their robots in the event; special thanks to the parents and young roboteers of the Alphabot Club.

2023 InOrbit Visit and Talk
As part of National Robotics Week, the SuperTech FT team visits InOrbit on April 12, 2023 sharing the AI Robotics experience and insights. Dr. Albert Hu provided a thought provoking discussion on “Teaching AI Robotics to 90% of US Population” at the event. This is based on our experience in conducting the San Francisco AI Robotics Youth program in the past two summers with input from C level executives of AI and robotics companies and professors who have personally taught in the classes alongside most important of all, personal feedback from our students cohorts throughout these summer programs. Special thanks to Florian Pestoni, CEO and co-founder of InOrbit, for promoting AI Robotics education by having a robotics space in Silicon Valley and our partner Code Tenderloin for their excellent outreach efforts.
The SuperTech FT team visits InOrbit on March 28, 2023 and later on April 12, 2023. Dr. Albert Hu gives a talk on AI Robotics education during National Robotics Week.
2023 Robot Block Party
How can we make AI Robotics education more accessible? Join our booths for National Robotics Week! To kick off the national week of Robotics, we joined this year's Robot Block Party, an annual event hosted by Silicon Valley Robotics, on April 8. SuperTech FT was honored to participate in demonstrating the future of AI in Robotics to everyone attending. We are always excited to deliver the highest quality AI Robotics education for exploring, reskilling, and upskilling globally.
